HIRING POSITION CHIEF OPERATION OFFICER (COO) (Energy Industry)

As the COO, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our company's operations. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve processes across various functional areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the edible oil and biodiesel industry, a track record of successful cost-cutting initiatives, and a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities :

Operational Leadership:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the operations team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our edible oil and biodiesel production facilities.
• Collaborate with other executive team members to develop and implement overall business strategies.

Cost Cutting and Efficiency:

• Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement cost-saving initiatives across all aspects of the business.
• Optimize supply chain and procurement processes to minimize costs while maintaining product quality.
• Monitor and analyze operational expenses and recommend budget adjustments as needed.

Process Improvements:

• Lead process improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity, product quality, and safety.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations and eliminate waste.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure that all operations meet regulatory and quality standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
• Implement and maintain robust quality control systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve any compliance issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Operations Management, etc.). MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of leadership in a senior operational role within the edible oil and biodiesel industry.
• Strong understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and cost control.
• Experience in implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
