Chief Operating Officer — Rise Wellness

Seeking a disciplined, high-ownership business leader who runs the full business — not just operations — for a fast-growing consumer brand portfolio as part of a publicly traded company. This leader will be accountable for overall performance across two emerging, high-growth brands, supported by a lean and highly accountable team.

Rise's CEO is a proven visionary and revenue-driver, focused on sales, brand, and key relationships. This role exists to run everything else — translating vision into a well-managed, profitable business. The right leader partners closely with the CEO on strategy and long-term direction while owning full business execution: operations, financial performance, marketing execution, people, and cross-functional alignment. They build systems that scale, drive margin discipline, lead confidently through ambiguity, and create calm in a high-growth environment.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role. Rise is in an aggressive growth phase — building top-line momentum and taking market share — while building the operational and margin discipline needed to drive toward sustainable profitability. The right leader is equally comfortable shaping that long-term direction and personally solving today's operational bottlenecks.

Who We Are Looking For

Rise is seeking a highly capable, forward-thinking Chief Operating Officer to run the day-to-day business across the Rise Wellness portfolio — spanning operations, finance, marketing execution, and people — and to serve as a trusted right hand to the CEO.

In partnership with USANA's shared operations team, this leader directs outcomes across supply chain, co-manufacturing, procurement, demand planning, S&OP, inventory management, logistics, commercialization readiness, and operational infrastructure. Beyond operations, this person owns financial performance, marketing execution, and go-to-market alignment, and organizational health across the business. They partner closely with the CEO on business direction and long-term strategy — bringing sound judgment, financial discipline, and a broad, general-management view of the entire business — while ensuring disciplined margin management, strong cash flow awareness, and scalable systems across every function.

We're looking for a seasoned business leader — someone who has run a full P&L, not just a functional area — who combines confident, principled decision-making with an adaptable, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style. The ideal candidate thrives in a lean, high-growth environment, comfortable owning outcomes across the entire business rather than a single function, and has a credible voice on where the business is headed.

What You Will Do as Rise's COO

• Own accountability for operational outcomes across both brands, ensuring alignment with growth strategy
• Direct and hold accountable USANA's shared operations team on supply chain, co-manufacturing partnerships, procurement, and vendor negotiations, representing Rise's priorities and standards
• Set forecasting, S&OP, and inventory targets in partnership with USANA's ops team, and hold the line on service-level excellence
• Improve gross margin through cost optimization and disciplined operational oversight, working through USANA's operating infrastructure
• Own the full P&L and overall business performance across both brands
• Own financial performance and margin management in partnership with finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation discipline
• Oversee marketing execution and go-to-market alignment, ensuring initiatives connect to overall business strategy and ROI
• Define scalable systems and KPIs across operations, finance, and marketing, in coordination with USANA's teams who administer shared platforms
• Ensure operational readiness for retail expansion and new product launches
• Own organizational health — team structure, hiring, and performance across all functions reporting into this role
• Strengthen cross-functional accountability and execution cadence across Rise and USANA teams
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO on capital allocation, growth pacing, and long-term scaling

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a CEO, President, or General Manager with full P&L ownership strongly preferred
• 10+ years of leadership experience in CPG, food & beverage, or better-for-you brands
• Proven experience scaling brands from entrepreneurial stage to $75M+ revenue
• Broad business leadership across operations, finance, and marketing — not solely a functional specialist
• Experience directing outcomes through a shared-services or matrixed operating model, not just a direct team
• Strong financial acumen with command of gross margin, unit economics, working capital, and capital allocation
• Commercial and marketing fluency — able to connect brand, sales, and marketing decisions to overall business performance
• Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills, including influence without direct authority
