Are you a COO or Lead Integrator looking for a new challenge in London as 2nd in command to the CEO? Circa £15M Revenue, from a total staff of less than 20, this independent, rapidly growing company is in the mindfulness, wellness, consumer goods and personal growth space with celebrity endorsements.  They are seeking a Chief Operating Officer / Operations Director, to join their team.  The position is commutable to central west London with an option for hybrid remote work (if you are relatively local),  reporting to and partnering with the CEO/Founder.

If you have previously been a COO / MD / SVP of a company that grew within or beyond the £25M-£100M+ revenue range, in B2C consumer goods via a strong digital marketplace and eCommerce presence (and other sales channels) don't miss this exciting opportunity to make an impact in a young and dynamic company.

  • Operational Oversight: The COO is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the company. This involves managing various departments such as production, sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Strategic Planning: Working closely with the CEO and other executives, the COO helps develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the company's goals and objectives. This may involve setting targets, formulating business strategies, and identifying opportunities for growth.

  • Resource Allocation: The COO is involved in resource allocation, including budgeting, staffing, and allocation of capital. They ensure that resources are utilised effectively to support the company's operations and growth initiatives.

  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency is a key responsibility of the COO. This may involve implementing new technologies, optimising workflows, and eliminating inefficiencies.

  • Team Leadership and Management: The COO oversees the hiring, training, and management of employees within the company. They may also be responsible for fostering a positive work culture and promoting teamwork and collaboration across departments.

  • Risk Management: Assessing and managing risks is crucial for any business, especially in a startup or small growing company. The COO plays a key role in identifying potential risks to the business and implementing strategies to mitigate them.

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: The COO often monitors the company's performance against key metrics and benchmarks. They may also be responsible for preparing regular reports for senior management and stakeholders, providing insights into the company's progress and areas for improvement.
