Job Description

Cascade Medical (CM), a Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic located in Leavenworth, Washington, is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee operations of the family medicine clinic, ambulance, hospital/ancillary areas, and support services (facilities, quality, IT) for our organization.

Duties:

• Works closely with the CEO, executive team and board to develop the organization's strategic plan and then leads execution of goals and objectives related to areas of responsibility.
• Consistently supports CM's strategic direction, culture of Shared Values and policies and procedures in all business and professional relationships. Actively possesses strong leadership skills and positively encourages growth of same with direct reports.
• Responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for areas of responsibility.
• Develops and maintains strong working relationships with medical staff and collaborates with staff on quality initiatives and outcomes.
• Ensures staffing is adequate for areas of responsibility to provide high quality, cost effect care.
• Responsible for strategic facility site planning.
• Will serve as the executive leader of the organization during CEO absences as directed by the CEO or in an emergency as directed by the Board of Commissioners.
