Acts as a strategic advisor to the Chief Transformation & Workforce Officer, guiding enterprise transformation and workforce optimization initiatives to ensure strategic priorities are executed with discipline through robust governance, operating model alignment, and seamless cross-functional collaboration. The role focuses on unifying business transformation with workforce strategy, ensuring the organization’s structure, talent capabilities, and work practices support sustained performance and operational excellence.
Aligns workforce strategy to business priorities by supporting workforce planning, capability development, role clarity, and the design and implementation of effective operating models that improve organizational structure and decision rights.
Drives execution of enterprise transformation initiatives by establishing governance structures, tracking progress against strategic milestones, and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and intended business outcomes to support execution of organizational priorities and business objectives.
Partners with executive leadership to translate strategy into actionable plans by preparing executive-level materials, facilitating strategic communications, decision-making and ensuring alignment across leadership on priorities and execution.
Coordinates and drives cross-functional execution across business units by removing barriers, resolving issues, and ensure collaboration and accountability for delivery of enterprise initiatives.
Establishes performance metrics and dashboards to monitor transformation and workforce outcomes by driving accountability, continuous improvement, and ensuring measurable business impact of strategic initiatives.
Facilitates executive communications, governance activities, and change management initiatives to support organizational alignment and transformation.
Champions and models enterprise-wide adherence to governance, compliance, and ethical standards while fostering a workplace culture rooted in diversity, safety, fairness, open communication, and the highest levels of ethical behavior to uphold organizational integrity and regulatory alignment.
Leads and supports organizational strategies for the restoration of critical services and emergency preparedness to ensure business continuity and community trust.
Embraces and leads additional strategic responsibilities as needed to advance enterprise objectives and organizational resilience.
Additional Job Description:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, industrial/organizational psychology, public administration, human resources or related field.
Experience
12 years' experience in similar functional role, with responsibilities of leading transformational projects, strategic initiatives enterprise-wide, governance, stakeholder management, with at least 6 years' progressive experience in a senior leadership role leading enterprise-level initiatives and influencing cross-functional senior stakeholders.
Experience driving alignment across senior leadership and multifunctional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
Experience working with workflows design and project management for enterprise-wide initiatives.
Experience with Workday is preferred.
Additional education may substitute for the required experience when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:
Master’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of experience performing related functions and at least 4 years of progressive experience in in senior leadership role leading enterprise-level initiatives and influencing cross-functional senior stakeholders.
Doctor’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 6 years of experience performing related functions and with progressive experience in senior leadership role leading enterprise-level initiatives and influencing cross-functional senior stakeholders.
