Job Description

Role Purpose

The Chief of Staff will serve as the operating integrator for the CEO, translating strategy into a disciplined operating rhythm across ESR Data Centers. Acting as the central coordination point for the executive leadership team, the candidate will establish the governance, management cadence, reporting disciplines and execution framework required to operate a geographically dispersed, multi-country data centre platform.

The candidate’s role extends beyond traditional executive support. The candidate will ensure that strategic priorities are translated into measurable objectives, executive decisions become accountable actions, and leadership has timely, accurate and consistent information to guide decision-making. By integrating commercial, development, operational and corporate performance into a single management framework, the candidate will provide the CEO and Executive Committee with a clear view of platform performance, execution risks and strategic priorities.

The Chief of Staff is responsible for building the management systems that allow ESR Data Centers to operate as an institutional-quality platform capable of scaling consistently across multiple markets.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Establish and continuously improve the operating rhythm of the CEO’s office, including executive governance, leadership meetings, decision-making processes and strategic planning cycles.
  • Develop and maintain the platform-wide KPI framework, ensuring consistent measurement, reporting and accountability across all countries and functions.
  • Consolidate commercial, customer, development, construction, leasing, capital deployment and financial performance into integrated executive reporting.
  • Coordinate Executive Committee meetings, Board reporting, annual planning processes and strategic reviews, ensuring clear agendas, decision papers and follow-up actions.
  • Track strategic initiatives and executive priorities, ensuring agreed actions are assigned, monitored and completed.
  • Develop executive dashboards, portfolio reporting tools and management information systems that improve organizational visibility and decision-making.
  • Identify cross-functional execution risks, operational bottlenecks and organizational dependencies, escalating issues and coordinating resolution across leadership teams.
  • Drive consistency in management reporting, governance standards, business processes and operating disciplines across the regional platform.
  • Support the CEO in preparing Board materials, investor presentations, strategic reviews and major corporate initiatives.
  • Work closely with Commercial, Customer Solutions, Country Development, Investment, Finance and Corporate functions to ensure leadership decisions are effectively translated into execution.
