The GE Vernova Electrification Chief Strategy and Technology Officer (CSTO) is seeking a highly capable, execution-focused Chief of Staff to serve as a strategic and operational partner across a broad portfolio of priorities.

This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in driving operational excellence, strategic alignment, and execution rigor across the Electrification CSTO portfolio, including technology and products, strategic marketing, commercial excellence, business development, and strategic accounts.

This role is designed for a leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, operations, lean execution, and cross-functional coordination. The Chief of Staff will help drive team operational rhythm, improve operating rigor, connect priorities across teams, and accelerate execution on the key initiatives led by this team. The role will be at the interface with Corporate teams, Electrification business lines and functions.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to the Electrification CSTO and a key contributor to the broader leadership team—bringing structure to complexity, improving decision quality, and ensuring follow-through across a fast-moving global organization.In this role you will help drive the operational engine behind a complex global function. You will work across business lines, functions, business units, and regions to improve alignment, visibility, accountability, and execution.

This is more than a support role—it is a high-impact operational leadership position at the center of how GE Vernova Electrification drives strategy and execution. You will help shape operating rhythm, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and enable better decisions and faster action across a global energy business.

Dans ce rôle, vous contribuerez à piloter le moteur opérationnel d’une fonction globale complexe. Vous travaillerez en transverse avec les business lines, les fonctions, les business units et les régions afin de renforcer l’alignement, la visibilité, la responsabilisation et l’exécution.

Il ne s’agit pas d’un rôle de support classique, mais bien d’un poste de leadership opérationnel à fort impact, au cœur de la manière dont GE Vernova Electrification pilote sa stratégie et son exécution. Vous contribuerez à structurer les rythmes de fonctionnement, à renforcer l’alignement transverse et à permettre de meilleures décisions ainsi qu’une action plus rapide dans un groupe international du secteur de l’énergie.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partner directly with the CSTO to drive strategic and operational priorities across GE Vernova Electrification businesses and in support of GE Vernova corporate functions.
• Build and manage an effective operating cadence across the CSTO organization, including KPI reviews, operating reviews, strategic planning rhythms, and Hoshin Kanri execution.
• Improve organizational effectiveness by enhancing information flow, decision support, prioritization, and follow-up across critical workstreams.
• Become the AI champion for the team leading by example on using AI to augment capability in our different activities
• Act as an operations integrator, connecting teams across supply chain, quality, engineering, and business leadership to ensure priorities are aligned and outcomes are delivered.
• Support the deployment of lean principles, standard work, continuous improvement, and productivity tools to strengthen execution discipline and operating consistency.
• Support budget planning and financial tracking across the CSTO organization, helping ensure strategic priorities are aligned with resource allocation, spending is monitored effectively, and operating commitments are delivered within plan.
• Drive visibility and accountability across CSTO priorities, helping teams translate goals into measurable actions and results.
• Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives that improve business performance, remove barriers, and accelerate transformation focusing on Data Center Power to Rack & Grid/Power stability and flexibility.
• Help create scalable, repeatable ways of working that improve collaboration, simplify complexity, and enable stronger execution across the enterprise.
• Prepare different meetings where the CSTO is present including board materials, operation review content, talking points, customer profiles, external coms support, etc.
• Support the preparation of internal and external content and support material used across the team for engagement with institutions, policy makers, customers and press on strategic topics.
• Serve as an extension of the CSTO when appropriate, helping advance priorities, build relationships, and keep momentum on critical initiatives.

Responsabilités principales

Basic Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university or college
• Significant experience in operations, lean, manufacturing, engineering operations, or cross-functional business leadership Previous chief of staff role is a plus.
• Demonstrated success driving outcomes across complex, global, matrixed organizations
• Experience establishing or managing business rhythms, governance processes, operating reviews, and performance management routines
• Strong operational mindset with the ability to identify issues, solve problems, manage competing priorities, and drive execution with discipline.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions, levels, and cultures.
• High level of integrity, sound judgment, and personal accountability.
• Proven ability to bring structure to ambiguity and move work from concept to action.

Desired Characteristics

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field;
• Prior experience in a Chief of Staff, business operations, PMO, strategy execution, or executive-level operational leadership role
• Experience in lean transformation, kaizen, standard work, continuous improvement, or operating system deployment
• Strong strategic and systems-thinking capability, including the ability to understand interdependencies and make sound trade-off decisions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to write quality documents and summarize complex information for Board and C-level decision making.
