The Supply Chain team are responsible to bringing billions of life-saving medical devices and diagnostics tests, high-tech instruments and equipment to customers and patients all over the world. Our aim is deliver these products at an affordable cost and of the highest quality.
As Chief of Staff you will serve as a critical extension of the EVP, enabling effective leadership, decision-making, and execution across one of the company’s most complex global functions.
The role focuses on orchestrating strategy, governance, and execution across ISC, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and accelerating delivery of key outcomes across safety, quality, service, cost, cash, and people.
This role is central to enabling ISC to operate as an enterprise growth engine, delivering both near-term performance and long-term transformation.
Strategic orchestration & executive support
Partner with the EVP ISC to shape and drive the strategic agenda aligned with enterprise priorities.
Translate complex operational topics into clear executive narratives for ExLT and Board discussions.
Support decision-making by synthesizing insights, risks, trade-offs, and priorities.
Design and lead ISC governance mechanisms, including leadership cadence, performance reviews, and transformation forums.
Ensure meetings are focused, decision-oriented, and anchored in clear outcomes and accountability.
Track decisions, actions, and follow-through across key forums.
Provide visibility on ISC performance across Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, Cash, and People.
Monitor progress against strategic initiatives, identify risks early, and enable rapid issue resolution.
Support prioritization and resource allocation across critical initiatives.
Drive alignment across Business Units, COEs, and functions on key priorities and trade-offs.
Support the shift toward a BU-centric, end-to-end operating model with strong global capabilities.
Facilitate cross-functional problem solving on enterprise-critical topics.
Support delivery of ISC transformation priorities, including value stream integration, digital supply chain, planning maturity, BD Excellence, supplier development, and talent development.
Ensure transformation initiatives are clearly structured, prioritized, and linked to business outcomes.
Partner with VP HR ISCQ to strengthen ISC Leadership Team effectiveness and enterprise ways of working.
Reinforce clarity of roles, decision rights, accountabilities, and operating rigor.
Enable alignment, constructive debate, and a strong “one team” attitude.
Ensure clear and consistent communication of ISC priorities, decisions, and performance.
Prepare high-impact materials for ExLT, Board reviews, and key governance forums.
Act as a trusted liaison between the EVP ISC and key internal and external stakeholders.
You bring 10–15+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, strategy, or consulting, ideally within a global matrix organization. You have worked closely with senior leaders and led complex, cross-functional initiatives. You are strategic, structured, and action-oriented, with the ability to turn complex priorities into clear plans and measurable outcomes.
