A rare opportunity has arisen to join the newly established Private Office of a globally recognised business leader and Chairman of a major international Metals & Mining enterprise.
The Principal runs substantial industrial operations across North America and internationally. As the Chairman's global responsibilities continue to expand, he is building a small but world-class travelling Private Office team will operate as trusted extensions of the Chairman across business, strategic and operational matters.
The successful candidate will become a genuine right-hand to the Chairman, accompanying him extensively across international business engagements, helping coordinate complex global priorities, ensuring flawless communication between stakeholders, and driving execution across multiple workstreams and geographies.
Working in support of the Chairman and the Director of the Chairman's Private Office and alongside fellow team members, you will operate within a highly collaborative, non-hierarchical team environment where discretion, commercial acumen, responsiveness and absolute commitment are essential.
The role demands exceptional flexibility and a genuine enthusiasm for a global, fast-paced lifestyle. Extensive travel forms a core part of the position, often at short notice and frequently across multiple continents within a single month.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Support to the Chairman
- Serve as a trusted partner and extension of the Chairman across business activities and engagements.
- Accompany the Chairman to meetings, conferences, site visits, board engagements and international travel commitments.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Chairman's priorities, objectives and ongoing initiatives.
- Anticipate requirements, identify potential issues and proactively implement solutions.
- Ensure the Chairman remains fully briefed and prepared for all meetings and engagements.
Meeting Management & Follow-Through
- Attend meetings alongside the Chairman and capture key discussion points, decisions and action items.
- Produce concise, accurate and actionable summaries following meetings.
- Coordinate follow-up activities and monitor progress against agreed actions.
- Ensure accountability amongst stakeholders and facilitate timely completion of deliverables.
- Maintain oversight of multiple concurrent projects and initiatives.
Communications Management
- Act as a central communication conduit between the Chairman and internal and external stakeholders globally.
- Manage high volumes of communication, particularly through WhatsApp and other real-time channels.
- Draft correspondence, briefing materials, updates and executive communications.
- Distill complex information into concise summaries and recommendations.
- Ensure important communications are prioritised, tracked and actioned appropriately.
International Coordination
- Coordinate seamlessly across multiple offices, jurisdictions and time zones.
- Liaise with senior executives, leadership teams, advisors, government representatives, investors and external partners.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between international business units.
- Support cross-border initiatives and strategic projects.
- Maintain alignment across stakeholders and operating teams globally.
Chairman's Office Operations
- Support the day-to-day operation of the Chairman's Private Office.
- Assist with the development and implementation of systems, processes and reporting frameworks.
- Coordinate with the Director of the Chairman's Private Office on operational priorities.
- Contribute to the creation of a highly effective, agile and professional Private Office function.
- Ensure the highest standards of execution across all activities.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Act with professionalism, diplomacy and discretion in all interactions.
- Liaise closely with the Principal's wider family office infrastructure, including the Private Office of the Chairman's father.
- Represent the Chairman and his office to the highest professional standards.
Special Projects
- Support strategic business initiatives and special projects as required.
- Conduct research, prepare briefing materials and provide analytical support.
- Assist with business development opportunities, industry events and executive engagements.
- Undertake ad hoc assignments requiring judgement, initiative and discretion.

Essential Experience
- Significant experience supporting C-suite executives, founders, chairpersons, principals or ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
- Previous experience within a Chief of Staff, Executive Business Partner, Strategic Executive Associate or comparable role.
- Demonstrated experience operating within complex, international organisations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating across multiple time zones and global stakeholder groups.
- Extensive international travel experience within a professional capacity.
- Strong meeting management, reporting and executive communication skills.
Highly Desirable Experience
- Experience within the metals, mining, steel, natural resources or industrial sectors.
- Previous exposure to large multinational groups or family-owned conglomerates.
- Experience working within Indian business environments or with Indian leadership teams.
- Background supporting entrepreneurs, chairpersons, founders or family office principals.
- Experience helping establish or scale a Private Office function.

Travel Requirements
This position involves extensive international travel throughout the year.
Typical travel patterns include regular travel throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East and India, often at short notice.
