Location

• Full-time - Islamabad, Pakistan (F-7 Markaz)

• This position requires you to travel Internationally to the MENA region and beyond if necessary.

Primary Responsibilities

Your main tasks in this role would be:

• Engaging with clients, replying to emails, and other commercial activities. Conduct market analysis and study industry deals.
• Stay up to date with industry trends in various verticals that CDS is focusing on. Verticals
• Keep up with technical developments with various projects and convey information to relevant core technical members.
• Develop system-level domain knowledge of your assigned projects to get sufficient context of each project you work on.
• Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them.
• Having an eye for quality and attention to detail and making sure subpar isnt accepted.
• Participating with the CEO and Co-Founders in strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making.
• Focusing on activities that make time, information, and decision processes more effective.

• Source investors through both warm and cold outreach

• Prepare investment materials such as financial models, decks, and other presentation materials; manage data room and access
• Prepare shareholder meetings
• Develop quarterly and interim investor updates (in collaboration with
• Legal and senior management teams; core engineering teams)
• Respond to investor inquiries and fulfill audit requests
• Cultivate relationships with existing investors
• Pitch to potential investors
• Oversee technical & business due diligence processes
• Scout relevant industry events and participate in them to carry out necessary business processes & sale
• Coordinate with investment banks, advisors, and consultants assisting with fundraising

• Broadcasting information provided by the CEO to the Cowlar Design Studio(CDS) team.
• Ensuring timely and effective completion of tasks and initiatives of the CEO.
• Drafts letters, emails, reports, and other correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
• Supports the CEO in meetings by taking notes and assuming responsibility for completion of action items.
• Manage the CEOs calendar and help surface priority tasks and clear out the noise.
  
  Requirement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Background in investment banking or consulting, with preference given to candidates from reputable firms
• Education is flexible; however, a background in the engineering/software-related field is a plus
• Proven experience in fundraising, preferably in investment banks or startups is an advantage.
• You're not just a problem-solver; you're a problem anticipator, capable of devising innovative solutions on the fly.
• Your goal-oriented mindset ensures you not only set ambitious targets but also achieve them, driving projects to completion with unmatched zeal.
• With the ability to pitch, persuade, and propagate our vision, you'll captivate audiences and weave compelling narratives about our groundbreaking initiatives.
• Establishing and nurturing relationships is second nature to you, ensuring Destinus remains interconnected and esteemed within our industry.
• A technical background is highly advantageous, enhancing your ability to understand and contribute to our innovation-driven environment.
• Individuals should possess a good aesthetic and design sense. Knowledge of what looks good and what should be placed in design components such as pitch decks and web pages. Knowledge of software such as Figma and Adobe Illustrator is a favorable skillset to have for this position.
• The ability to do minimal video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro is also highly preferred
• Experience with CRM systems, proficiency in Excel, and a knack for crafting compelling presentations will set you apart.

Special Skills

• Context Switching: The ability to work at 100x zoom on one project and then being able to shift your attention seamlessly to a different project and so on. A lot of your work will tackle different contexts in quick succession. Good news, you can build this skill with practice.
• Idea Maze: When thinking about an idea you are able to figuratively play Grandmaster chess in your mind and plan all the possible options and their successive actions to fill out an Idea Maze. This skill comes in handy while assessing complex business strategy and product decisions.
• Systems Thinking: Rapid absorption of knowledge and being able to distill that knowledge into something usable and easily understood by all. The capacity of quickly gaining system level knowledge and being able to clearly express a topic as well as mentally mapping the landscape of the topics domain
