For over 35 years, Elizabeth Seton Children’s (ESC) has been a trailblazing provider of care and education for children and young adults with complex medical conditions and a beacon of hope for their families. At our children’s center in Yonkers, NY, which is the largest of its kind in the US, we are continuously recognized as a 5-star, nationally acclaimed, post-acute facility for our unsurpassed clinical and rehabilitative services.
We strive each day to live out our mission: “Inspired by the love of St. Elizabeth Seton, we join with families to create possibilities for children and young adults with medical complexity.”
Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center is part the ESC family of organizations that serves more than 2,000 children with complex medical needs each year and also includes Elizabeth Seton Children’s School and Elizabeth Seton Children’s Rehabilitation Center.
ESC is pioneering the first ever facility designed to care for young adults with severe and chronic medical needs who have aged out of pediatric services. Our future young adult center will be located on our White Plains campus and is slated to open in 2028.
Reporting to the Administrator of the young adult center, the Chief Nursing Officer provides strategic and operational leadership to plan, organize and direct the daily operations in accordance with regulatory guidelines and standards.
