St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM), in partnership with Grampians Health, is delivering Victoria's first shared Electronic Medical Record (EMR) across metropolitan, regional and rural health services.
The YourEMR Program represents one of the most significant digital transformations ever undertaken in Victorian healthcare. This landmark initiative will create a connected digital patient record spanning inpatient, ambulatory and community care settings, fundamentally changing how care is delivered across the state.
We are seeking an exceptional nursing leader to join the program as Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO) and play a pivotal role in ensuring nursing voices, workflows and clinical expertise are embedded at the heart of this transformational program.
This is a rare opportunity to influence the future of nursing practice while helping shape a digitally enabled healthcare system that will benefit generations of patients and clinicians.
Reporting to the Head of EMR Adoption at SVHM and maintaining professional accountability to the Chief Nursing Officer, the CNIO will serve as the principal nursing informatics leader throughout the YourEMR journey.
You will work closely with executive nursing leaders, clinicians and multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure nursing practice, patient safety and clinical excellence are reflected in the design, build and implementation of the new EMR.
As a trusted advisor and change leader, you will champion nursing engagement, drive clinical transformation and support the workforce to successfully transition to new ways of delivering care.
You are a highly respected nursing leader with a passion for digital health, innovation and improving patient outcomes.
You thrive in complex environments, bring others on the journey through influence and collaboration, and understand how technology can strengthen clinical practice and enhance patient care.
This is more than a project role. It's an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy on healthcare delivery across Victoria.
If you're an experienced nursing leader passionate about digital transformation and improving healthcare outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
