As Chief Meteorologist, you'll lead by example both on and off camera.
You'll mentor and develop the Local Alert Weather Team, provide constructive and actionable feedback, and foster a culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
Working closely with the News Director, you'll help define the vision for weather coverage while ensuring our forecasts remain accurate, consistent, and engaging across every platform and every shift.
Qualified candidates should have a bachelor's degree in meteorology or atmospheric sciences and at least five years of broadcast meteorology experience, including demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
Strong forecasting abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform confidently under pressure are essential.
Experience creating content across television, digital, and social platforms is expected.
