Job Description

Position: Chief Medical Officer

Location: Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq

Contract Details: Full Time, Permanent

We are currently Chief Medical Officer for a reputed client in IRAQ.

As the Chief Medical Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all medical operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement strategies to improve the overall health and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the medical team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international healthcare standards
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of medical staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the organization and the delivery of holistic patient care
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of medical staff
  • Manage the budget for medical operations and ensure cost-effective practices are followed
  • Stay updated on industry developments and trends, and implement best practices to continuously improve medical services
  • Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, healthcare organizations, and community groups

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading medical teams
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
