Chief Manager- Finance

Position Summary

The Finance Controller (CAPEX) - Rest of India will lead CAPEX controlling for projects across India (excluding Rajasthan), ensuring cost governance, financial integrity, accurate month-end closures, and audit compliance. The role will drive process standardization, automation, and digitization while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to support efficient project execution and strong financial controls. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project/CAPEX finance, process transformation, and team leadership in a project-driven environment.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

1. Accountability for CAPEX for projects across India except Rajasthan.
2. Lead team of Site Finance Controllers to deliver on cost control, financial integrity and monthly hard close objectives.
3. Facilitate and enable audit – internal and statutory for smooth closure.
4. Significant process improvements are to be brought in the CAPEX controlling and bring standardization and digitization to augment productivity and decision making.
5. Support Serentica Finance Controller – CAPEX in implementing top-down initiatives on process transformation and internal controls.
6. Review of all month’s close activities to ensure accuracy for own portfolio.
7. Business partnering and cross functional stakeholder management to enable smooth projects execution.

Serentica is committed to reversing climate change by decarbonizing energy-intensive industries such as Steel, Cement, Aluminium and Zinc. Industries consume more than 50% of the electricity generated in India. Serentica’ s medium-term goal is to supply over 40 billion units of clean energy annually and displace 37 million tonnes of CO2 emissions.
