Job Title
Deputy Chief Manager – FinanceLead PCC’s financial planning and management reporting function, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, cash flow reporting, and finance transformation initiatives. Responsible for delivering accurate, insight-driven financial reporting, driving governance and automation across reporting systems (Anaplan, Qlik, SAP/S4HANA), and partnering with senior leadership and key stakeholders. The role also oversees MIS, planning and reporting teams, while strengthening analytics, reporting controls, dashboard governance, and process excellence across finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead FP&A, Management Reporting & Business Performance Reviews
Lead and own the monthly PCC management reporting cycle including sales flash, consolidated MIS, P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and KPI reporting.
Ensure delivery of accurate, timely and insight-driven reporting for senior management, ExComm and corporate stakeholders.
Drive consolidated entity-wise, business-wise and product-level financial reporting with strong focus on profitability and business performance visibility.
Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis against budget, forecast, prior year and latest outlook.
Provide actionable insights on revenue, product margin, gross contribution, EBITDA, working capital, cashflow and business run-rate trends.
Drive analytical commentary highlighting key risks, opportunities, financial movements and management actions.
Ensure reporting governance through structured review controls, validation mechanisms and escalation processes.
Partner with commercial, operations and business stakeholders to support decision-making through financial analysis and performance insights.
Lead preparation of PEC, ExComm, townhall and senior management review presentations with clear and decision-oriented messaging.
2. Lead Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
Lead and own the end-to-end budgeting and periodic forecasting process for PCC.
Coordinate with ExComm members, business leaders, department heads, entity controllers and site finance teams for planning inputs and assumptions.
Drive consolidation, review and challenge of budget and forecast submissions across entities, businesses and functions.
Ensure planning assumptions relating to revenue, pricing, margins, opex, personnel cost, capex, working capital and cashflow are robust and aligned with business expectations.
Lead preparation of consolidated budget decks, forecast review presentations and planning commentary for leadership reviews.
Ensure planning cycles are executed through disciplined governance, structured timelines and clear ownership tracking.
Support scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and business outlook reviews for management decision-making.
3. Own Anaplan Reporting Governance & Planning Systems
Own Anaplan as the core platform for management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting.
Ensure integrity, reliability and governance of Anaplan data structures, reporting hierarchies, mappings and dashboard outputs.
Lead actuals reporting, forecast version updates, budget rollovers and structural changes within Anaplan.
Ensure alignment between Anaplan, SAP/S4HANA, Qlik and supporting reporting frameworks.
Drive system improvements, reporting enhancements and process optimisation in coordination with PwC, IT and internal support teams.
Strengthen system-driven controls, standardisation and automation across planning and reporting processes.
4. Lead Profitability Analytics, KPI Governance & Business Insights
Lead proactive profitability analysis across products, customers, businesses, entities, regions and sales organisations.
Provide leadership with meaningful insights on financial performance drivers including price, volume, mix, cost and operational movements.
Own KPI governance across revenue, EBITDA, product margin, gross contribution, TVA, debt, Debt/EBITDA, working capital, AR, inventory and cashflow performance.
Drive trend analysis, performance tracking, profitability bridges and business performance reviews.
Highlight early warning indicators, unusual movements and areas requiring management intervention.
Ensure reporting outputs are analytical, business-oriented and aligned with strategic decision-making needs.
5. Lead Qlik Reporting, Dashboard Governance & Finance Automation
Own Qlik reporting and dashboard governance for PCC management reporting and business finance analysis.
Ensure dashboards are accurate, reliable and aligned with latest organisational structures and reporting requirements.
Drive enhancements across revenue analytics, profitability reporting, working capital dashboards, AR analysis and management reporting views.
Lead automation initiatives across MIS, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow reporting and analytical processes.
Identify opportunities to eliminate manual, repetitive and error-prone reporting activities through system-driven solutions.
Drive process improvements through Anaplan, Qlik, SAP/S4HANA integrations, standardised templates and reporting frameworks.
Lead development of SOPs, governance mechanisms, review controls and scalable reporting processes.
6. Lead Cashflow Reporting & Corporate Finance Coordination
Lead PCC cashflow forecasting and reporting in coordination with site finance controllers, entity controllers and corporate finance teams.
Review assumptions relating to working capital, AR, inventory, AP, capex, debt, interest and liquidity planning.
Ensure cashflow reporting is integrated with broader MIS, planning and forecast cycles.
Support corporate finance and IR teams with reporting submissions, management analysis and quarterly performance explanations.
Coordinate responses to senior leadership, corporate and investor-related financial queries with accurate and consistent reporting support.
Provide leadership visibility on liquidity trends, working capital performance and financial risks.
7. Lead Team Development & Reporting Excellence
Lead and guide a team supporting management reporting, planning, Anaplan, Qlik and business finance activities.
Drive strong ownership, accountability and analytical capability within the team.
Review outputs, provide direction on variance analysis and ensure high standards of reporting quality.
Develop team capability in financial analysis, systems usage, stakeholder communication and presentation effectiveness.
Act as the escalation point for reporting issues, timeline risks and data governance matters.
Build a culture focused on continuous improvement, automation, control orientation and business partnership.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory; candidates who cleared CA in the first attempt will be preferred.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in FP&A, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business finance partnering.
Relevant experience in managing reporting teams and coordinating with cross-functional business and finance stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with planning and reporting systems such as Anaplan, Qlik, SAP/S4HANA and advanced Excel-based models is preferred.
Experience in driving reporting transformation, process improvement, governance and automation initiatives will be an advantage.
Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing or other complex multi-entity business environments will be preferred.
