About the Company:

Our client is a prominent Government of Dubai entity responsible for developing strategic initiatives that enhance community engagement, institutional excellence, and sustainable development. Location: Dubai, UAE

To audit and verify the organization's compliance (including its organizational units) with administrative, operational and financial policies, procedures, and regulations. This involves performing risk assessments and delivering independent, objective reports and recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessment interviews with department managers (technical and non-technical).
• Contribute to the preparation of the strategic and annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment results.
• Perform audit tasks across financial, operational, legal, and technical areas with due professional care.
• Ensure the quality of internal auditors' work.
• Develop risk-based audit programs.
• Perform special assignments such as investigations, advisory services, and independent reviews (fraud, risk management, etc).
• Prepare draft reports for quality assurance.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
• Maintain proper audit documentation and records.
• Report conflicts of interest.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within government or semi-government organizations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management, Finance, or equivalent
• Master's degree in the relevant field is a plus
• Must have professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CMA, or CFE
