The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will provide strategic leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of innovative IT systems that support the companys mission and business goals. The role requires a visionary leader with strong business acumen, proven technical expertise, and deep understanding of financial services and regulatory environments particularly within the pension custody sector.
Develop and execute an innovative IT strategy that aligns with the organizations goals while ensuring full compliance with PenCom and other regulatory standards.
Oversee core IT infrastructure management, including data centers, networks, servers, and cybersecurity systems to ensure operational reliability and asset protection.
Lead digital transformation initiatives to automate workflows, improve service delivery, and enhance customer experience.
Supervise and optimize technological infrastructure to ensure peak system performance and reliability.
Direct and manage all IT-related projects across the organization.
Analyze technology trends, costs, and risks to advise management on strategic IT investments.
Collaborate with senior management, other departments, and regulators to ensure technology initiatives align with organizational priorities.
Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning to minimize IT-related operational risks.
Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
Professional certifications in IT management or security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) are highly desirable.
810 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in financial services, pension fund administration, or custody businesses
Proven track record of managing complex IT infrastructure and cybersecurity systems in regulated environments.
Demonstrated expertise in IT governance, risk management, and digital transformation
Strategic Thinking: Ability to design and execute IT strategies aligned with long-term organizational goals.
Leadership: Skilled at leading diverse technical teams, fostering innovation, and managing change.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of pension industry regulations, data privacy, and cybersecurity laws.
Vendor Management: Proficiency in managing third-party IT vendors and contract negotiations.
Project Management: Proven experience in handling large-scale IT projects; PMP or PMI-ACP certification preferred
Microsoft Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central (BC) and other advanced Microsoft tools.
Cloud computing and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft BC).
Data analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau
Cybersecurity platforms and automation tools.
Knowledge of AI technologies and software development lifecycle management tools like Git
