Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Full-time associates in role are also eligible for an annual bonus incentive. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Provides enterprise leadership and accountability for Brookdale's technology strategy, digital capabilities, cybersecurity governance, data and artificial intelligence enablement, enterprise architecture and information systems in support of the organization's long-term strategy and operational objectives. Partners with executive and business leaders to translate Brookdale’s strategy into a multi-year portfolio of investments and measurable outcomes that enable growth, quality of care, resident and associate experience, regulatory compliance, operational resilience, productivity, and long-term enterprise value. Leads the development and execution of a company-wide technology and AI vision, establishing the governance, capabilities, talent, partnerships and controls needed to responsibly modernize the organization and deliver reliable, secure, scalable and user-centered technology services across corporate and community operations.
Develop, maintain and execute an integrated enterprise technology, cloud, digital, data and AI roadmap aligned to Brookdale's business strategy, growth plans, operating priorities and regulatory obligations.
Establish and lead an enduring enterprise AI strategy and responsible-use program covering governance, use-case intake, risk classification, human oversight, testing, monitoring, third-party models, data protection, adoption, and value realization. Partner with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Security, Human Resources, Operations, and care leaders to manage AI risk throughout the lifecycle.
Own the enterprise technology budget, including capital and operating expenditures, ensuring investments are prioritized against strategic impact, resident and associate value, regulatory requirements, risk, and return. Negotiate and manage major technology vendor contracts and partnerships.
Oversee network infrastructure, data centers/cloud environments, end-user computing, telecom, and disaster recovery/business continuity planning across all communities and corporate locations, ensuring reliable and resilient service delivery.
Oversees the Oracle Fusion ecosystem (ERP, HCM, financials, and related modules) and broader enterprise applications ecosystem, ensuring platform stability, security, and interoperability with clinical/care, AI/analytics and other applicable platforms.
Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy and governance in partnership with the CISO, Compliance, Legal, Privacy, Finance and business leaders. Establish cyber-risk priorities, policies, standards, metrics, third-party risk management, incident response, crisis coordination, and remediation governance; support timely escalation and assessment of incidents and disclosure readiness, and protect resident health and other information, associate data, and corporate systems under HIPAA, SOX, and other applicable requirements.
Ensure appropriate data governance, controls, analytics enablement and audit-readiness for systems supporting a publicly traded company's financial reporting obligations, that also underpins future AI initiatives.
Lead change management and associate enablement to drive responsible technology adoption across a large, distributed workforce of corporate and community-based associates.
Provide decision-oriented Board of Directors and Audit Committee (as applicable) reporting on strategy, cyber/resilience, material risks, investments, controls, outcomes, talent, and emerging technology, with appropriate direct access.
Champion a broader digital transformation agenda, delivering measurable improvements across resident/family experience, care, workforce, community operations, sales and marketing, analytics, productivity and corporate services through shared executive accountability.
Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing IT organization, including infrastructure, applications, security, data, and AI-enabled technology capabilities.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum fifteen years of progressive technology leadership experience, including executive responsibility for enterprise technology strategy, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, service management, financial stewardship and vendor management within a complex organization. Experience in a publicly traded, highly regulated environment preferred. Healthcare, senior living, hospitality, multi-site operations, or other service-intensive industry experience is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
Demonstrated executive leadership across enterprise technology disciplines, including business partnership, enterprise architecture, ERP and cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data governance, and large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
Management/Decision Making
Exercises broad executive judgment in establishing enterprise technology strategy, governance, investment priorities, and operating standards. Decisions have significant impact on organizational performance, risk profile, regulatory compliance, and long-term business outcomes.
Knowledge and Skills
Executive-level expertise in enterprise technology leadership, digital transformation, AI strategy, ERP and cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data governance, financial stewardship, and organizational change management. Exceptional ability to influence executive stakeholders and communicate complex technology strategies to senior leadership and the Board of Directors
