The Chief of Human Resources (CHRO) is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team responsible for developing and executing comprehensive human resource strategy. The CHRO oversees all aspects of the organization’s human resources operations included but not limited to talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, workers compensation, leave management and organization development. Ensures the institution is fully compliant with all federal and state employment laws, regulations, and Joint Commission standards. The CHRO is responsible for Human Resources for all System entities including Anderson Hospital, Community Hospital of Staunton, Anderson Surgery Center, Maryville Imaging, Anderson Medical Group, and Anderson Healthcare.

Level: Master’s degree required.
Certification/Licensure: SPHR preferred
Experience Requirements: Must have 10 years experience in the management of a Human Resources department, preferably in hospitals. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Familiar with Human Resources statistical information. Ability to work with and interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
