Ready to shape financial governance and regulatory reporting across HSBC Taiwan?
HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world. Guided by our purpose of opening up a world of opportunity, our ambition is to become the world’s most trusted bank globally, putting customers at the heart of everything we do.
As Chief Financial Officer for Taiwan you’ll be accountable for Finance across HSBC Taiwan spanning financial reporting, local regulatory reporting, asset, liability and capital management, management information and tax compliance. You’ll provide the insight and analysis that helps country leadership, the Local Board and OPCO make clear decisions in a highly regulated environment. As Chair of ALCO you’ll oversee decisions that shape the liquidity, funding and capital framework in line with Group requirements. You’ll set a strong financial control framework that protects balance sheet integrity and ensures accurate reporting of financial results. You’ll also oversee Finance operations and build effective ways of working across onshore, GFOC and near-shore teams. Success means timely, accurate reporting, strong regulatory engagement and a Finance function that enables the business while maintaining independence as a control function.
This role is central to how HSBC Taiwan manages performance, meets regulatory expectations and allocates capital responsibly. You’ll bring together strong governance, clear insight and effective operational oversight across the Finance function. If you’re ready to shape decisions at Local Board, OPCO and ALCO level while strengthening reporting and control you can make a meaningful impact from day one. Apply to help ensure HSBC Taiwan’s financial management supports sustainable growth and trusted outcomes for customers and stakeholders.
