About This Position

Community Care Network (CCN) is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations of our behavioral health and human services organization. The CFO serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and provides oversight of Finance, Billing, Facilities, and Information Technology.

The CFO guides financial strategy, planning, reporting, cash management, revenue-cycle performance, risk management, and operational improvement. The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who can strengthen financial systems, translate complex financial information for varied audiences, develop high-performing teams, and help advance the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability.

CCN is composed of Rutland Mental Health Services (A Vermont Designated Agency and CCBHC) and Rutland Community Programs, both 501c3 nonprofit organizations serving individuals and families throughout the greater Rutland County region in Vermont. CCN programs span child and adult mental health, substance use, developmental disabilities, older adult services, and early care and education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field required with at least 10 years of progressively responsible financial management experience.

• Experience in healthcare, human services, or another highly regulated nonprofit environment.

• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare finance, including Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement, healthcare cost reporting, government grants and contracts, financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, audit, internal controls, and revenue-cycle operations.

• Demonstrated success strengthening financial operations, leading organizational change, advising senior leaders and boards, and developing finance teams.
