About the Role
As a CFO, you will be responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, accounting, and financial operations. The role partners closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive profitable growth, support strategic decision-making, ensure strong financial governance, and optimize business performance.
This role requires a unique blend of commercial acumen, financial leadership, operational understanding, and technical accounting expertise. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable with driving growth strategy, supporting sales and pricing decisions, managing capital structure, investor relations, and ensuring robust financial controls, compliance, and reporting standards.
The CFO will oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, risk management, and commercial finance, while helping shape the company’s long-term strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of Cambi’s financial strategy, driving growth, operational improvement, and scalable financial processes.
Lead the evaluation of strategic opportunities including projects, acquisitions, partnerships, investments, and international expansion initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to the Board, investors, and executive leadership team on financial performance, strategy, risks, and business decisions.
Lead and develop the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, tax, internal controls, and governance, and oversight of business systems and IT development.
Deliver accurate and insightful financial analysis on profitability, cash flow, and project performance to enable data-driven decision-making.
Manage cash flow, treasury, banking relationships, and capital planning.
Deliver quarterly and annual consolidated financial reporting with a strong focus on transparency, quality, and compliance.

Key qualifications and requirements
Minimum 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior finance and CFO-level responsibilities.
Strong experience in both commercial finance and technical accounting.
Experience with engineering projects and fabrication is required
Strong understanding of group structures, subsidiary operations, and intercompany transactions, including consolidation and transfer pricing considerations.
Proven track record in financial planning, reporting, business partnering, and operational finance.
Experience managing audits, compliance, tax, treasury, and financial controls.
Experience supporting growth, scaling businesses, or transformation initiatives is preferred.
Experience working with executive leadership, Boards, investors, and external stakeholders.
Higher education in finance/economics; MSc in Economics and Business Administration/ master’s in accounting and Auditing, or equivalent.
