We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization’s finance function and contribute directly to long-term business growth and operational scalability. This leadership role requires a finance professional with strong expertise in financial strategy, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and profitability management within fast-paced D2C, eCommerce, or high-growth business environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with founders and senior leadership to drive data-driven decision-making, optimize financial performance, and build scalable financial systems and processes. The role also involves managing financial governance, cash flow planning, taxation, audits, MIS reporting, and business analytics while supporting strategic initiatives such as growth planning, inventory-linked financial management, fundraising readiness, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end financial strategy, planning, and governance for the organization.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial performance analysis.
• Manage cash flow planning, working capital, and profitability optimization initiatives.
• Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
• Oversee taxation, audits, compliance, and financial control processes.
• Analyze business performance, unit economics, and operational efficiency metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, supply chain, marketing, and leadership.
• Support fundraising activities, investor reporting, and banking relationships where required.
• Establish scalable financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support long-term organizational growth.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• CFA Level 3 cleared with strong expertise in corporate finance and strategic financial management.
• 8+ years of experience across finance, FP&A, business analytics, or corporate finance roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Proven understanding of D2C, eCommerce, or high-growth startup business models.
• Experience managing inventory-linked financial operations and unit economics.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work closely with founders and leadership teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• CA or MBA Finance qualification along with CFA is an added advantage.
