Victory Programs is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for an immediate opening in our central Jamaica Plain office. With annual revenues exceeding $30 million, the CFO plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's financial health, growth, and sustainability. This position transcends numbers; it aligns financial strategy with our mission of providing comprehensive, high-quality care to underserved populations, making it a role of great significance.
The CFO will be responsible for managing all financial functions, including financial planning, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, billing matters, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will possess experience in nonprofit finance, excellent leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to improving health and housing access for underserved communities.
Victory Programs' next Chief Financial Officer will have the unique opportunity to join an established and respected organization dedicated to providing safety, security, and stability to community members in need throughout Boston and Eastern Massachusetts. As a key member of the leadership team, the CFO will collaborate closely with the CEO, the Executive Leadership Team, and the Board of Directors to ensure the organization's long-term sustainability and contribute significantly to our mission.
The Chief Financial Officer is an essential member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This team provides leadership, strategic direction, management, and coordination for all efforts at Victory Programs. The CFO plays a crucial role in shaping Victory Programs' financial strategy and ensuring sustainable operations.
The CFO oversees the agency's accounting and financial management systems, which encompass payroll, accounts receivable, including billing, and accounts payable. The CFO reports directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer and works closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure transparency and accountability in all financial matters.

Victory Programs is dedicated to offering competitive wages. To promote equity, we do not engage in salary negotiations for exempt candidates. "Exempt employees" are those not entitled to overtime pay under state and federal law. We acknowledge that salary negotiation processes can often lead to unfair biases; therefore, we provide our best offer upfront, which will be the same for all candidates. The annual starting salary for the Chief Financial Officer position is set at $170,000. This role meets the exemption requirements as defined by state and federal law. Exempt employees are compensated on a salaried basis, and their salary is intended to cover their entire regular compensation, regardless of the number of hours worked.
