CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) – FEMALE PREFERRED
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Pan-African Scope)
Reports To: Group CEO
Employment Type: Full-Time (Executive Leadership)
Experience: 16+ Years
Compensation: ₦3,000,000 Net Monthly + Incentives + Equity
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide strategic, operational, and commercial leadership, driving aggressive growth, regulatory compliance, and market expansion across multiple African markets.
Reporting to the Group CEO, the role holder will have full accountability for business performance, execution of corporate strategy, and positioning the organization as a leading fintech infrastructure platform.
Female executives with strong leadership experience in fintech, banking, or technology are strongly encouraged to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Leadership & Execution
Translate corporate vision into actionable, measurable business strategies
Lead execution across all business units to achieve growth targets
Drive full Profit & Loss (P&L) ownership and accountability
Position the company as a market leader in fintech infrastructure
2. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
Drive revenue generation across core verticals:
Digital Payments
POS & Agency Banking Services
Merchant Solutions
APIs and Financial Integrations
Expand operations into key African markets
Build and scale enterprise and SME customer pipelines
3. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
Ensure full compliance with:
Central Bank of Nigeria regulations
Pan-African financial regulatory frameworks
AML/KYC policies and global compliance standards
Act as primary liaison with regulators, banks, and financial institutions
4. Operational Excellence
Oversee end-to-end operations including:
Payment infrastructure and switching
POS deployment and lifecycle management
Merchant onboarding and settlement systems
Logistics and field operations
Establish scalable processes, governance frameworks, and internal controls
5. Leadership & Talent Development
Build and lead a high-performing executive leadership team
Attract, develop, and retain top-tier talent
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and execution excellence
6. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
Establish and manage strategic partnerships with:
Financial institutions and banks
Telecommunications companies
Payment processors and aggregators
Government and regulatory bodies
Strengthen the organization's position within Africa's fintech ecosystem
7. Investor & Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with the Group CEO and Board on:
Strategic planning and governance
Capital raising initiatives
Investor relations and reporting
Represent the organization at high-level industry forums and engagements
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is strongly preferred
Experience
Minimum of 16+ years' progressive experience
Proven track record in:
Fintech
Banking or Financial Services
Payments or Digital Platforms
Demonstrated success in scaling businesses or leading large business units
Strong knowledge of African regulatory environments
Experience engaging with banks, regulators, and enterprise clients
Core Competencies

Commercial acumen and revenue-driven mindset
Deep understanding of the digital payments ecosystem
Ability to scale businesses in emerging markets
Strategic thinking with hands-on leadership capability
