Job Description

The Chief Executive Officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui (BGCM) serves as the lead champion for youth across a uniquely close-knit island community shaped by deep cultural roots, geographic realities, and evolving economic dynamics. Maui’s distinct landscape—marked by its strong Native Hawaiian heritage and reliance on tourism—calls for a leader who can thoughtfully balance tradition, community voice, and innovation. The CEO will unite civic, business, philanthropic, and grassroots partners to expand opportunity and ensure that all Maui youth have access to safe spaces, supportive relationships, and life-changing programs.

As a powerful testament, an astounding 54% of national Club alumni have shared that their Club experience had a life-altering impact on their lives. This underscores the extraordinary opportunity for the CEO to lead an organization that not only supports youth in the moment, but fundamentally shapes their futures—and, in turn, the future of the island.

This is a meaningful leadership opportunity in a community where relationships, trust, and cultural understanding matter. The CEO will guide BGCM through its next chapter—strengthening programs, expanding reach, and ensuring that every young person on Maui has access to the opportunities, mentorship, and the sense of belonging they need to thrive.
