Chief Executive Officer

Atlanta, GA – Hybrid 3 days onsite

Lead PADV’s next chapter of mission-driven growth and community impact

Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and empowering survivors, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to guide the organization’s continued growth, operational excellence, and sustained community impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this opportunity is for a mission-driven, relationship-oriented leader who can build on PADV’s strong foundation, deepen community partnerships, and position the organization for continued success.

This leader will bring strategic vision, operational strength, fundraising expertise, collaborative Board partnership, and a deep commitment to survivor-centered services across emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, prevention programs, education, and community partnerships.

The role in action:

  • Set a clear strategic vision that advances PADV’s mission and expands community impact
  • Ensure strong financial stewardship, thoughtful resource allocation, and sustainable growth
  • Serve as PADV’s chief fundraiser and build support across key partner groups
  • Serve as a visible and trusted ambassador with donors, partners, public officials, and the broader community
  • Advance survivor-centered programming and community partnerships

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Have 7 to 10+ years of senior nonprofit or mission-driven leadership experience
  • Bring experience leading organizational growth, strategic planning, and mission-aligned change
  • Demonstrate strong nonprofit financial and operational acumen
  • Have a proven track record in fundraising and revenue diversification
  • Bring strong communication, relationship-building, resilience, and mission alignment
  • Build trusted relationships with Board members, staff, donors, and partners
  • Develop high-performing teams and strengthen organizational accountability
  • Understand programs serving survivors or similarly vulnerable communities
