Why Join Opera

Opera is the world’s oldest browser innovator and one of the few independent browser companies operating at global scale. For over 30 years, Opera has competed directly with the largest technology companies in the world by building products users actively choose.

Today, nearly 300 million people use Opera products globally. The company is profitable, growing, and investing significantly in AI-driven browsing experiences.

Opera has thrived by offering a credible alternative to default technology platforms. As AI reshapes how users interact with the web, the browser is again becoming a critical surface in computing.

As the browser re-emerges as a strategic layer in the AI era, Opera is strengthening its presence in the US technology ecosystem. The Chief Evangelist plays a central role in that effort.

This role offers the opportunity to represent a company with deep experience, strong momentum, and a clear independent point of view at a moment when the next era of browsing is being defined.
