What’s the role?
As the Chief Engineer – Downstream, you will be the technical architect of Westpac’s future intelligence ecosystem. You will establish the engineering foundations, architectural patterns and technology capabilities that enable AI, data and business solutions to scale safely and sustainably across the Downstream domain.
Working across Risk, Finance, Treasury, Financial Crime and Fraud, you will tackle complex cross-domain challenges and create enduring solutions where no established blueprint exists. This role thinks beyond platforms and applications, focusing on the systems, patterns and foundations that will shape how the bank evolves over the next decade.
This role can be based in Sydney or the Gold Coast
