Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Hotel Engineering or a related technical field

    • Technical Knowledge

    • The candidate should have strong knowledge of:

    • HVAC systems
    • Electrical distribution systems
    • Plumbing and water treatment
    • Diesel Generator (DG) operations
    • Boilers and steam systems
    • Elevators and escalators
    • Fire alarm and firefighting systems
    • Building Management Systems (BMS)
    • Preventive maintenance software (CMMS)
    • Energy efficiency and sustainability practices

    • Key Skills

    • Leadership and team management
    • Problem-solving and troubleshooting
    • Project management
    • Budgeting and financial control
    • Communication and interpersonal skills
    • Emergency response and crisis management
    • Planning and organizing maintenance activities
    • Negotiation and vendor management

  • Preferred Competencies

  • Knowledge of hotel brand standards
  • Understanding of ISO standards, environmental regulations, and occupational health & safety requirements
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, CMMS, and engineering management software
