The primary purpose of the Customer Service Cashier Clerk is to assist the court and aid the public with information relating to traffic and criminal matters handled by Cleveland Municipal Court. Handles all customers requesting information pertaining to court cases, bond information and the on-goings of court procedures. Also, take care of customers at the Fine and Waiver window, process all the mail that comes in with payments and answer incoming calls concerning court dates and ticket information. Responsible for maintaining records of funds received by the public by performing the following duties.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentages using a calculator.

Note: The work involves sitting or standing for long periods of time, and repetitive motion. The employee must occasionally lift boxes of files weighing up to 50 lbs.; and/or push file cart weighing up to 50 lbs. Some bending stretching may be required.
