About Al Shindagha Museum


Located in the iconic Dubai Creek area, within Al Shindagha's historical
neighbourhood, the Museum tells one of the world's most inspiring stories, one visitors experience literally, walking house to house through its pavilions across time. This is a museum like no other: wandering from history into the present day, wearing traditional jewellery, breathing in perfumes, even diving virtually for pearls. About the Role

Guiding visitors and accompanying them inside the museum, providing all necessary information with high quality and efficiency and ensuring the best services are provided to the museum visitors.

Position Details
Location: Dubai, UAE
Contract Type: Full-Time (24-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Contract Duration: 24 Months (August 2026 – July 2028)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the fee data is matched with the actual amounts received and the delivery of

the daily revenue and the financial report to those involved.

  • Follow-up and coordinate with schools and universities to prepare and organize educational programs and trips to the museum.

  • Conducting field visits to schools to promote the collections, activities and introduce the museum content in line with the school syllabus.

  • To coordinate and follow up regarding reservations for school and tourist groups, in line

with the schedule of events and museum visits.

  • Coordination with the Events Department to organize guided tours for the events held in the museum.

  • Managing the distribution and maintenance of the speaking guide devices and following

up on the need for maintenance if necessary.

  • Providing innovative and developing suggestions and ideas to attract the largest number of visitors to the museum.

  • Coordination and follow-up to implement the schedule of visits and programs for tourist groups to visit the museum with the tourism agencies.

  • Preparing reports on the effectiveness of educational programs and trips and their relevance to the museum's goal and mission.
  • Coordinate with the exhibitions and collections section to provide the necessary information on the updated collections and holdings that are displayed in the museum.
  • Participating in receiving official delegations and providing all information on the various exhibits in the museum.
  • Coordination with the departments of Museum regarding exhibitions, events and activities in the museum.
  • Supervising cultural guides and reception staff during the shift, following up on the
  • implementation of their weekly schedule, and working to provide the necessary needs during special events and programs.

  • Supervising the implementation of training and development programs necessary for
  • cultural guides and reception staff to keep pace with various developments and to

  • communicate effectively with others.

  • Preparing and providing clearly necessary information on the daily and weekly events
  • and activities of cultural guides and reception staff to ensure the provision of the best

  • services to visitors.

  • Supervising and reviewing the preparation of daily reports of the number of visitors and
  • submitting the necessary reports to the direct supervisor.

  • Ensure that the necessary measures are taken to ensure the safety and personal
  • belongings of the visitors.

  • Accompany visitors and guide them to the various sections of the museum and give them the necessary information about them.
  • Communicate and respond to all inquiries that are raised by visitors in an accurate and correct manner.
  • Dealing with visitors' observations and complaints and working to solve them satisfactorily and in the fastest time, preparing and submitting daily reports to the direct supervisor.
  • Ensure that the Authority's security and safety procedures, policy and instructions are applied and followed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the job, as assigned.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or

  • equivalent from an accredited university.

  • 5 years of experience in a relevant working field Years of Experience
  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Organizational skills and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work within a team and make independent decisions.
  • Proficiency in the art of dealing with visitors of all ages, personalities, beliefs, cultures and natures.
  • Full knowledge of historical and heritage information and data.
  • The ability to communicate information easily and clearly.
