Level: 4 Year DegreeBHcare is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Chief Business Development Officer to join our executive leadership team. This executive-level role will support BHcare’s continued growth by advancing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, strengthening community relationships, and supporting long-term organizational sustainability.
The Chief Business Development Officer will provide leadership for business development, strategic growth, development, marketing, communications, grants, and community engagement, working closely with the President/CEO, executive leadership, and external partners to move approved strategies from concept to implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic growth and business development initiatives aligned with BHcare’s mission and long-term goals.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for service expansion, partnerships, affiliations, and revenue diversification.
- Build and maintain relationships with funders, community partners, healthcare providers, referral sources, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide strategic direction for development, marketing, communications, grants, and community engagement.
- Partner with leadership to assess market opportunities, develop business plans, and implement approved initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, public health, marketing, communications, or related field required; master's degree preferred.
- Experience in leading business development, strategic partnerships, organizational growth, fundraising, marketing, communications, or related functions required; nonprofit or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and cultivate strong relationships with  executive leaders, funders, community partners, and other key stakeholders.
