Our client is a long established and one of the leading general building main contractors in Hong Kong, they are principally engaged in construction and maintenance projects in Hong Kong and construction projects in Macau. They are inviting a high calibre candidate for the following vacancy:

Chief Blasting Engineer

Requirements:

• University degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent in appropriate discipline or MHKIE or equivalent in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering discipline

• 12 years of site experience in carrying out and designing blasting works related to construction of underground tunnel(s) or cavern(s), among which at least 8. 5 years shall be on carrying out blasting works related to construction of underground tunnel(s) or cavern(s) with the largest transverse cross sectional area of not less than 100 square metres.
