The Lottery Grants Board Te Puna Tahua (the Board) is responsible for distributing the profits made from New Zealand lotteries (including Lotto), and the Department of Internal Affairs administers these funds on behalf of the Board through our Community Operations | Hāpai Hapori.
The role | Te tūnga
Reporting to the Deputy Secretary, Partnerships and Commissions this exciting new role is responsible for providing exceptional Board Secretariat support and advice to leadership at the highest levels of the public service. It requires a strategic thinker who can see the big picture, connect complex information, exercise sound judgment in fast-moving situations, and ensure that the Board and Secretary are well-informed and prepared for their planning, decision making and setting strategic priorities.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to engage with a wide range of business leaders, stakeholders and internal teams across the country. As a member of the Branch leadership team, you will support the Deputy Secretary and Director Branch Performance to help shape priorities and support branch initiatives.

The appointing range for this role $154,209 - $191,905, with the potential to appoint higher depending on level of experience.
