Hospital Sisters Health System is recruiting for a Chief Administrative Officer to support the HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL. The ideal candidate is a seasoned nursing and operations leader that is comfortable managing in a matrix environment. This leader should have a passion for community involvement and be comfortable being the face of the hospital and the face of the health system in and around Litchfield.

The Chief Administrative Officer will hold direct responsibility for strategic and operational leadership for all hospital operations and functions, ensuring alignment across all hospital service lines to drive growth, quality, and top tier patient care. This leader will also have direct involvement with physician relations to grow and develop the future of the hospital.

The Chief Administrative Officer will report directly to the Central Illinois Market Chief Operating Officer and will partner with the full Central Illinois Market team. This position will be based out of Litchfield, IL and requires relocation to the area for regular onsite presence.

• Base salary with bonus potential
• Salary Range: $205,900 - $242,200
*A successful candidate's placement within the range will be based on several factors including direct healthcare nursing leadership experience, certifications, and education.

Minimum Requirements:
• Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, management, finance or related field is required or must be actively pursuing degree and graduate within 2 years of assuming the role.
• Nursing degree must be either a BSN or MSN
• 7 years of leadership experience in a hospital or health system, multi-specialty group practice, and/or integrated delivery system is required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required within 90 days of date of hire.

Education Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, management, finance or related field is required or must be actively pursuing degree and graduate within 2 years of assuming the role.

Experience Qualifications

  • 7 years leadership experience role in a hospital or health system, multi-specialty group practice and/or integrated delivery system is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required within 90 days of date of hire. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
  • Certification in Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) is preferred.
