A Day in Your Life at MKS/Atotech:

As a Chief Accountant in our company, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of the company’s financial and statutory accounting. You will oversee accounting operations, taxation, reporting, and payroll, while leading a small accounting team and acting as a key financial partner for both local management and the Headquarter.

This position offers a high level of responsibility, close interaction with international stakeholders, and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and accounting automation.

You will make an impact by

• Managing the full accounting and tax accounting of the company in compliance with local legislation and internal policies.
• Controlling closing periods, statutory reporting, tax declarations, and related deadlines.
• Preparing statistical and other mandatory reports required by authorities.
• Verifying the accuracy of primary accounting documents and contracts.
• Leading and developing the accounting team (2 people): setting objectives, planning activities, and ensuring quality and deadlines are respected.
• Managing payroll processes, including cumulative accounting.
• Handling foreign economic contracts and related accounting activities.
• Preparing management reporting for the Headquarter, including:
  • Monthly financial reporting packages (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet);
  • Ensuring compliance with required formats, standards, and deadlines;
  • Reconciling management and statutory accounting data;
  • Supporting and accompanying the data consolidation process and ensuring accuracy of transmitted information.
• Participating in accounting automation initiatives, including implementation or optimization of 1C and similar accounting systems.
• Supporting audits, inspections, and internal/external checks when required.

Skills You Bring

• Higher full-time education in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in accounting, including at least 5 years in a Chief Accountant role.
• Strong ability to manually compile financial statements and a deep understanding of the interconnection between financial reports and key financial indicators.
• Solid knowledge of taxation within HTP (High-Tech Park).
• Experience with audits, inspections, or tax checks is a strong plus.
• Experience in foreign economic activities and international reporting.
• High level of accuracy, consistency, responsibility, and ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining order.
• Experience with 1C or other accounting automation systems.
• Professional certifications are a strong advantage (IFRS, audit license, advanced professional qualifications).
