We are looking for a
high-capacity
Training Director
to join our team at
Chick-fil-A
. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can take full ownership of the restaurant’s training program, build structure from the ground up, and create systems that help the business scale.
This leader will be responsible for building a training program that supports new hires from day one through their first 90 days, while also creating continuous training systems for current team members and leaders. The ideal candidate is a strategic builder, strong executor, and confident coach who can identify gaps, gain buy-in, and turn training needs into clear processes that improve restaurant results.
This role is ideal for someone who is hungry to grow, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to create a program that can eventually expand across the entire restaurant.
Your Impact
Taking complete ownership of the restaurant’s training program and building scalable systems from the ground up
Creating a structured new-hire training path from day one through day 90
Developing ongoing training programs for current team members, trainers, and leaders
Identifying operational gaps by observing shifts, reviewing data, and partnering with restaurant leadership
Using restaurant performance data, such as food cost, waste, guest experience, and execution trends, to create targeted training solutions
Building buy-in with Team Members, Trainers, Directors, the General Manager, and the Owner/Operator
Developing certified trainers who can execute training standards even when the Training Director is not present
Supporting evening and transition periods where training needs are highest
Creating clear systems, processes, accountability, and follow-up rhythms for training execution
Helping the restaurant grow by building a training program that can scale with increasing sales volume
Maintaining a work environment that ensures food safety, team safety, and operational excellence
Background Profile
2+ years of leadership, training, coaching, teaching, or program management experience
Proven ability to build systems, processes, or programs from scratch
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate in ambiguity
Hungry, self-motivated, and energized by building something new
Strong communicator who can gain buy-in from multiple stakeholders
Able to analyze gaps and turn observations into practical training solutions
Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including evenings as needed
Restaurant, hospitality, Chick-fil-A, or high-volume operations experience preferred
