General Purpose:
The CHI Educator is responsible for day-to-day operations of the CHI Program and for providing education and interventions to incarcerated individuals to develop them as peer educators within the NYS DOCCS Sullivan Hub (Eastern, Ulster, Woodbourne, and Otisville Correctional Facilities).

Our staff of nearly 400 employees includes over 40 Board Certified/Board Eligible Physicians, Dentists, physician’s assistants, nurse practitioners, a large nursing staff, and social work and counseling staff. To better meet the needs of the communities we serve, a large number of our employees are bilingual.
From our humble beginnings, our Health Center now provides more than 25,000 adults and children in our region with comprehensive health care. Last year, we provided primary and preventative health care services totaling approximately 201,000 patient visits.
