Job Description

Objectives
As a chemist/senior chemist candidate in the Structural Elucidation laboratory provides technical solutions for routine and complex analytical assignments using spectroscopy techniques.

Main Tasks
• Under supervision from lab leader/senior chemist, independently perform FTIR and NMR analysis tasks.
• Analyze, interpret results, and prepare technical reports.
• Capable of communicate with internal partners for the understanding of their analytical service requirement and result interpretation.
• Ability to organize tasks and set priorities to ensure timely data delivery to customer.
• Perform general lab assignments (e.g., chemical inventory and lab housekeeping) as assigned.

Requirements
• Master in analytical sciences, chemistry or material science
• At least 2 years' experience of conducting NMR experiment and interpretation; Must be able to demonstrate hands-on practice on IR, NMR etc. as main task during past work period
• Experience with interpretation of NMR spectra for structural elucidation is mandatory
• Familiar with polymer system is a plus
• Good English and Chinese skills
