You’ll take up this crucial role within our market leading laboratories that provide water testing services for business, local authorities and private clients. We have state of the art equipment that enables us to offer a comprehensive service to ensure that that water delivered to customers meets the highest standards.
You’ll have a chemistry degree or a closely related subject and are looking for the opportunity to apply your academic training to a new challenge.
We complete water sample testing at speed and with care. You’ll support analysts with laboratory preparations and help perform analytical tasks within the Chemistry section. You’re adaptable and focused. You’ll operate instrumentation, assist with maintenance and prepare equipment. It’s vital that laboratory data is accurately recorded so you have attention to detail and precision.
We offer a vibrant, friendly and busy team environment. You’ll receive plenty of coaching and support to develop your analytical techniques and understanding so that you can continue to progress your scientific career at South East Water.
You will work 37 hours a week, between the hours of 8am-8pm. Typically, this will be split between 9am-5pm and late shift 12pm-8pm.
