Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity through its Indonesia entity, PT AHK Testing Indonesia, who is looking for a Field Inspector to join our team. PT AHK Testing Indonesia provides independent analysis and inspection services to the metals, minerals and solid fuels industries. We have a well-earned reputation for our knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of weighing, sampling and analysis.

The Laboratory Analyst plays a vital role in performing chemical analyses on coal samples, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, and ensuring all procedures meet strict ISO standards. This role is responsible for documenting precise analytical data and adhering to safety protocols to maintain a compliant laboratory environment. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Proficiency in conducting and interpreting laboratory analysis.
• In-depth understanding of analytical techniques and laboratory equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and compliance with ISO standards (ISO 17025, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001).
• Strong troubleshooting and general problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, clients, and stakeholders.

Required Work Experience

• Experience in coal laboratories, specifically understanding coal and coke analysis.
• Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills are welcome to apply.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of Vocational High School (SMK) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 Standards is beneficial.
  
• Willing to be placed in Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP), Central Sulawesi
