Responsibilities (Obligation to ensure that the action is taken):

  1. Perform all tests/jobs/sampling as instructed by Laboratory Manager.
  2. Ensure all test results/reports are in order, error free and are submitted promptly.
  3. Manage, maintain, and take care of lab, lab equipment/apparatus, supplies, documents, records, files, and assets.
  4. Update Laboratory Manager on regular basis on status of tests/job before, during and after.
  5. Immediately report any abnormalities/problems/discrepancies during test/job to Laboratory Manager and wait for their advice before taking any action.
  6. Discuss first with Laboratory Manager before making/taking important decisions/actions.
  7. To provide full assistance to Laboratory Manager in resolving problems/customers’ complaints.
  8. To ensure error free measurements and calculations.
  9. To carry out investigation on loss/gain/contamination etc when required.
  10. To always wear protective equipment/gears/clothing during test/job.
  11. To maintain a good rapport with all customers.
  12. To always uphold the good image of the Company.
  13. To provide full cooperation to Laboratory Manager on all matters.
  14. Perform any other related duties that the Company may assign from time to time.

Requirements:

  1. Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree/master’s in chemistry.
  2. Min 1 Year of working experience
  3. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  4. Preferably non-executive specialized in Chemistry or equivalent.
  5. Preferably Sarawakian
