Job Description

This position is based at the Kemin facility located in Russia (SEZ Lipetsk). The Chemist is responsible for the quality control of raw materials, in-process & final products using their skills to test and analyze raw materials or products in a laboratory and manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all the raw materials at incoming stage are inspected & tested according to the procedures
  • Test all incoming, in-process and final products according to the procedures with the test equipment as specified
  • Analyze & evaluate all testresults on conformity & act accordingly
  • Ensure that all the testresults are maintained to show evidence of conformity or non-conformity to the specified requirements
  • Ensure that all the raw materials are issued to production department only after necessary inspection tests are done and results are matching with raw materials specifications
  • Ensure that all the test equipment used in quality control departments are calibrated & maintained on a daily basis
  • Keeping of laboratory documentation

Qualifications

  • Higher chemical education
  • Relevant experience not less 3 years
  • Knowledge of liquid chromatography (additional knowledge of gas chromatography will be an advantage)
  • Pre-Intermediate knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of incoming control
  • A confident PC user (Word, Excel)
