Primary Job Function

To identify development potential in accounts by studying current business. Interviewing key customer and company personnel who have worked with the customer. Identifying and evaluating additional needs and analyzing opportunities.

Primary Job Duties Include:

• Work to maintain sales goals and maximize profit,
• Prepare quotations for pricing department,
• Coordinate with the equipment division on opportunities,
• Review daily order sheets for accuracy and initiate changes where necessary,
• Close sales by overcoming objectives,
• Properly process RFQs,
• Enter and maintain data in CRM,
• Update scheduled work via company calendar in CRM,
• Initiate sales process by building relationships, qualifying potential, and scheduling appointments,
• Develop new business and service existing accounts,
• Communicate success and value of our business to our customers,
• Exemplify a high level of motivation and determination to grow the assigned territory,
• Effectively communicate and follow up in a timely manner with attention to detail,
• Create, strengthen, and grow partnerships at key existing accounts,
• Prioritize effective time and territory management to grow the customer database,
• Recognize customer needs through excellent listening skills,
• Innovatively solve problems and troubleshoot customer challenges,
• Plan pre-call strategies and address customer objections through value-add selling.

Training Requirements

Job incumbents will be required to complete (before 90 days from date of hire):

• New hire orientation,
• Incident and Accident Reporting Procedures,
• Hazard Communication,
• Emergency Action Plan,
• Personal Protective Equipment,
• Fire Protection Plan,
• Walking-Working Surfaces,
• Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan,
• Security Training,

• Specific Job Procedures from S&H 18.1 that may be included as part of an employee’s job duties.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

All employees of PVS are expected to work safely, follow all procedures, and wear the proper PPE at all times on the job. PPE has been determined by the Safety Data Sheets, manufacturer recommendations, workplace hazard analysis and from personal exposure monitoring data. This PPE is provided by PVS and includes:

• Steel-toe work shoes,
• Safety glasses,
• Sleeved shirts,
• High visibility clothing.

Additional PPE may be required based on the task or operation being performed. Refer to PVS’ full PPE policy for specific requirements.

Salary: Dependent on experience; $75,000 - $85,000
