Job Summary

We're looking for a Chemical Process Operator to support the repair and processing of critical aerospace components. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you'll work with production materials, equipment, and tooling while following established procedures to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards are met.

Shift: This role is available on our 2nd shift (evening shift), with typical hours of 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Shift Differential: Employees on 2nd shift are eligible for a shift differential of $1–$3 per hour, based on the assigned workdays

Sign On Bonus: $500

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Set up and operate production equipment, fixtures, and tools
  • Blend surfaces and remove or apply material using hand tools and machinery
  • Mix and prepare production materials according to established processes
  • Modify and process parts to required specifications
  • Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality requirements
  • Follow production instructions and specifications with a high level of accuracy
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow quality standards, procedures, and inspection requirements
  • Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and company policies
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to use measuring tools or learn quickly
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
  • Reliable attendance

Nice to Have

  • Manufacturing or production experience
  • Chemical processing, coatings, plating, or metal finishing experience
  • Experience operating industrial equipment or hand tools
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
  • Experience working from work instructions or specifications
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
  • Experience in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environments
  • Comfortable working with PPE and following strict safety procedures

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This position works in a manufacturing environment and requires standing, walking, lifting, and handling materials throughout the shift.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
  • Push or pull materials using team lift methods or material handling equipment up to 500 pounds
  • Ability to work safely around production equipment, tools, and manufacturing processes

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
