The Role:

Our site in Aurora Illinois is seeking aChemicalOperator This is an opening for a Chemical Operator in theSlurriesProduction Division on the 2nd Shift- an excellent career opportunity for qualified individuals, especially those withchemical batchmanufacturing experience.

What You’ll Do

• Produce, package and prepare Entegris products for shipment.

• Weighs, measures & verifies raw materials to make sure batches are made with the proper ingredients in precise quantities.

• Receive raw material and containers.

• Perform required data entry, recordkeeping, and make material transactions in the ERP system.

• Perform required quality testing and inspections.

• Maintain safe and clean working environment.

• Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, policies, etc.

• Engage in continuous improvement (6S) teams and LEAN manufacturing activities.

• Contribute to plant safety initiatives.

• Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example, cycle count, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation).

What We Seek

Technical - Mechanical or Chemistry-related experience, hobbies/interests are usually a good fit here.

Computer - Ability to perform data entry tasks, communicate through email, knowledge of Excel, ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.

Behavioral – Team-focused attitude, eagerness to learn new things, attention to detail and dedication to come to work on time/have reliable attendance is the type of individual who thrives in ourenvironment.

Education - HS Diploma/GED Required

Experience – One to three years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrates leadership ability and team building skills.

Physical – Requires manual lifting of up to 45 lbs., ability to wear respirator intermittently, as needed.

Shift Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

• Overtime may be required, based on business needs, and weekend shifts will vary when needed.

• We care about cleanliness,and the use ofPPE PPEincludes - steel toe shoes (provided by us), safety glassesAdditional PPE required for certain job functions, such asfull-facemask.

• Pay range is $23-$24 per hour, depending on experience, plus shift differential
