Activities

Main Duties:

  • Ensure full compliance with safety rules, particularly those related to chemical handling and associated risks, both when performing tasks and when issuing instructions for bonding agent or plating tests.
  • Define, coordinate, and monitor trials for new compounds within the Gozo plant. Analyse trial results and report findings to the Gozo Process Engineering Manager and the Château‑Gontier laboratory.
  • Follow up on validation tests for new bonding agents, ensuring proper execution, analysis, and reporting to the Gozo Process Engineering Manager and the Château‑Gontier laboratory.
  • Follow up on validation tests for new processes related to bonding agents, including data collection, performance evaluations, and communication of results to CG. Provide CG with all relevant information linked to compound, bonding, or plating issues.
  • Support in process optimisation and secure curing parameters on press (best compromise cure level / cure time)
  • Validate the new association/compatibility of compound / bonding agent / metal / plating for parts in development.
  • Provide technical assistance in case of troubleshooting during production for bond failure, pre-moulding and moulding.
  • Provide support for technical projects .
  • Support in annual controls and retests, in collaboration with the Pre‑Moulding Engineer.

Additional Duties:

  • Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities by assisting with new developments related to bonding agent compatibility and by coordinating necessary testing with the Château‑Gontier laboratory.
  • Act as a backup for the Pre‑Moulding Engineer when required to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Perform any other duties related to the role as assigned by management, ensuring flexibility and support for operational needs.
