Chef | Springwood Hotel | Dream big with us!

The Springwood Hotel is seeking a passionate and trade-qualified Full-Time Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. To be successful in this role, you must hold a Certificate III (or equivalent) in Commercial Cookery and have proven experience delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, high-volume bistro environment.

We are looking for a reliable professional with excellent time-management skills, a strong commitment to food safety and hygiene and the flexibility to work a rotating roster including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays. A day in the life of a Chef:

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high quality dishes that “WOW” our guests
• Contribute positively to our culture which is centred around safety and hygiene, keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do
• Maintain a consistent standard of high quality and well presented dishes that align with the ALH standard

Qualifications

About you:

• You have great experience working in a fast paced kitchen and hold necessary trade cooking qualifications
• You understand that the recipe for an exceptional guest experience contains the perfect mix of passion, precision and productivity
• Strong organisation and communication skills to create the best possible outcomes for our guests and the team
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
